Swillington Organic Farm

Swillington Organic Farm has been farming in the heart of Yorkshire for over 50 years, with three generations working the land and caring for the animals.

The farm is built on a simple belief, that organic and ethically produced food is better for people, better for the environment and better for the animals themselves. It also produces food that genuinely tastes different.

For the team at Swillington, the story behind food matters. By buying directly from producers, people can understand where their food comes from, how it was raised and the standards that sit behind it.

Since 1999 the farm has sold its meat, vegetables and eggs directly to customers, creating a closer connection between the people producing food and the people eating it.

Animal welfare, environmental care and quality are at the heart of everything they do. The farm’s mission is simple, to produce ethical, sustainable food that supports the health of animals, people and the planet.

Swillington Organic Farm also runs a number of Farm Share schemes, allowing people to share in the harvest and support the farmers producing their food.

Alongside this, the farm hosts a seasonal pop-up farm shop where visitors can buy produce directly from the farm.

Visitors can join the farm’s email newsletter to hear when the shop opens and stay up to date with what’s happening on the farm.
